Measure
what you mix.
A precision measurement instrument for mastering engineers, broadcast, and audio QA — built on DKP-Core™. Real-time spectrum (seven render modes), three-band VU, vectorscope, BS.1770-4 loudness, platform-target compliance, and an A/B reference engine. Plus the differentiator nobody else ships: a see-thru overlay that floats above any player so you measure your master while it streams.
Seven ways to read a mix.
4096-point FFT, log-frequency, full-band measurement in seven render modes. Pick the language your ear is using right now — FILL for shape, LINE for surgical, BARS for VFD nostalgia, PRISTINE for pixel-perfect peak holds, HEAT for time-history, PRISM for the spectral wheel, THEREMIN for live pitch + key detection.
A spectrograph you can play.
Every spectrograph on the market shows you what the signal is doing. SPECTRE-PEAK is the only one you can perform on. Engage THEREMIN mode and the FFT becomes an instrument — track pitch in real time, lock to detected key, glide between notes, hear the spectrum as music. Built because the engineer who built it wanted to play what he was measuring, not just stare at it.
It is the first time measurement and expression have shipped in the same plugin. Engineers buy SPECTRE-PEAK for the BS.1770-4 compliance. They keep it open because of THEREMIN.
Five ways to read the low end.
The low end is where mixes live or die. SPECTRE-PEAK gives the bass region five dedicated sub-modes — because one view never tells the whole story below 250 Hz.
Air and presence.
The top end has two distinct jobs — air (the shimmer above 10 kHz that makes a master breathe) and presence (the 5–10 kHz region where intelligibility lives). SPECTRE-PEAK splits them so you can fix what is actually wrong.
Three needles. Three skins.
Low / Mid / Hi VU needles, 300 ms ballistics, +4 dBu reference. Three skins so the meter speaks the dialect of the engineer reading it — VOLT for green-neon filament LEDs, CLASSIC for skeuomorphic analog, DIGITAL for segmented LED bar. Pop out into a floating, dockable widget on any monitor at any size.
Phase, visible.
Four transforms — Lissajous (mono = vertical), X-Y (Lissajous rotated 45°), M/S (mid vertical, side horizontal), Polar (angle = phase, radius = magnitude). Hue ring shows phase angle continuously. Anti-phase darkens to red. Catches mono-incompatibility before mastering does.
Measure your master while it plays.
Every other "professional" meter sits inside your DAW, blind to what the world will hear. SPECTRE-PEAK floats above Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal — any player, any browser, any video. Pull the UI Opacity slider down and the entire chassis goes translucent so the playback shows through.
A/B your master against any reference on any platform in real time. Watch your LUFS, true peak, spectrum, vectorscope, and key detection update against the actual streaming version of any track in the world.
No other measurement plugin does this. None.
- Variable opacity — INVISIBLE → GHOST → TRANSLUCENT → SOLID
- Always-on-top window — never lose your meter behind the player
- Reads system audio — no DAW, no plugin host, no signal chain
- Standalone or DAW-loaded — same measurement either way
Every streamer's normalization, in one window.
SPECTRE-PEAK ships with the published target loudness for every major streaming platform plus broadcast. The meter shows you exactly how far you are — under or over — for the destination of your master.
A/B against anything.
Drop a reference track or pick a calibrated noise floor (PINK · FLAT · BROWN · BRIGHT). Get spectral diff in Δ-BAND mode, overlay match %, loudness delta, dynamics delta. Match scores update live as your master plays. Stop guessing whether you're "close enough."
Powered by DKP-Core™.
DKP-Core is the deterministic measurement kernel — the substrate behind the entire BlackBox SigFM RF/Electronic Suite. Phalanx-validated. Cunningham-Loop locked. Mod-3 parity ≡ 1. The same core that powers the geophysical and seismic instruments runs the audio metering you're reading right now.
When the readout says −14.2 LUFS · −1.3 dBTP, it's measured the way the standard is written — not approximated for plugin overhead.
